Mt Sierra College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Since 1965, ACCSC has been at the forefront of establishing and advancing quality education at private, postsecondary career schools and colleges for more than 250,000 students who annually pursue career education at 800 accredited institutions.
The U.S. Department of Education recognizes the ACCSC as a national accrediting agency. More information can be found at www.accsc.org.
Mt Sierra College’s approval to operate as a private post secondary school in the State of California is based on provisions of the California Private Post Secondary Education Act (CPPEA) of 2009, (California Education Code, Title 3, Division 10, Part 59, Chapter 8), effective January 1, 2010. The Act is adminis-tered by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, under the Department of Consumer Affairs.
